Twenty thirteen had been a hard and trying year, not only for the Philippines, but also for our family. We have had our share of trials and sorrows, but they will, as always, be a part of life. A way to become a stronger person (and hopefully, a better nation). That no matter how difficult it gets, we always strive to rise up, stronger than ever.
